Need to “Extend” your motor out to the water line? Want to move the ShuttleSlide mount further away from your rub rail and/or still use your existing RTA-54 , RTA-17 or Rhodan quick release mount?* We have the solution!
The BMAP-RE adapter plate allows you to use a Minn Kota RTA-17, MKA-21, RTA-54, RTA-62, MKA-64 or Rhodan quick release mount in conjunction with any of our UHD series mounts. Your Motor and/or quick release, together with this plate, will operate exactly as it was originally designed while also adding the retractable features of our mounts and extend an addtional 4+ inches out to the water line.
This plate installs between our brackets and your motor (NOT on your deck) and uses the fasteners that come with your Garmin, RTA-17, MKA-21, RTA-54, RTA-62, MKA-64 or Rhodan quick release. See DPA-1 for an adapter to use the existing holes in your deck.
Note: During checkout, please indicate what motor and shaft size you intend to use this with so we can ensure you receive the proper configuration.
Material: CNC machined from 0.375″ thick 6061-T6 aluminum
Primarily Used for: Relocating UHD series ShuttleSlide mounts an additional 4 inches further away from the rub rail and back onto your deck where it’s easier to get access for mounting.
- Adding a BMAP-RE to a UHD install moves the first set of countersunk wide pattern bolt holes to 10.5 inches from the rub rail
- If you need the first set of bolts further than 10.5 inches from the rub rail, just give us a call (321-345.3315) as we have options that can support the first set of bolts at up to 14.5 inches from the rub rail.
*NOTE: This adapter can also be used for other quick release mounts in addition to the ones listed above. All that is required is for you to add the holes your adapter needs to the BMAP-RE.

My ShuttleSlide (SS) and BMAP-RE install came out better than expected on my 31′ Yellowfin. I used the SS because I did not like my motor hanging over the edge of the bow when folded down. The SS also sits up a little higher and would slide over the 6” wide front lip on the bow. After I got the SS, I noticed it was narrow enough to fit between my running lights and bow cleats, back far enough to keep from blocking the running lights and, high enough to put a dock line around both cleats. In the end, the Rhodan barely hangs over the bow when running and out of the way for the trailer and docking. I’m pleased with the way it all came out. Thanks again for all your help.

The 6 1/2″ from rubrail was too close to call on my Nitro 640 so I ordered the BMAP RE rather than the BMAP 54 in order to set everything back to ensure fit.

Excellent build quality and top notch customer service. I did everything myself because of how shuttleslide made their product pretty easy to install. When picking the correct mount, just email them and they’ll work with you to get the exact one for your boat. Being able to retract the trolling motor when not in use is pretty awesome. I recently installed a 9UHD shuttle slide mount and Bmap-re on my fsh 255 e. The factory mount bent and broke. Shuttle slide rep was great. They keep track of customers boat fitments and advise on what to get. Great company.

Great product as especially great to have the skeg just inside rub rail and the height was perfect to pass over cleat and bow light. No need to relocate anything!
